We spent an unforgettable weekend in Eugene, Oregon, soaking up the local flavor, vibrant art, and game-day energy. Our home base for the trip was The Gordon Hotel—a stylish, modern spot right in the heart of downtown. With its local art installations and cozy rooftop lounge, it was the perfect mix of comfort and creativity.
Friday night was all about the First Friday Art Walk, a self-guided tour through Eugene’s downtown art scene. Galleries, pop-up exhibits, and live performances brought the city to life. It was such a cool way to connect with the community and see the talent this town has to offer.
Our Saturday morning started with a stroll through the Eugene Saturday Market, where the smell of fresh food, the sound of live music, and rows of handmade goods created a lively, colorful atmosphere. We picked up a few unique pieces from local artisans and enjoyed some amazing street eats under the early fall sun.
Of course, no trip to Eugene is complete without catching a game at Autzen Stadium. The energy was electric as we joined thousands of Ducks fans, cheering on Oregon in true green-and-yellow style. There's nothing quite like the roar of Autzen on game day.
Eugene gave us the perfect mix of culture, creativity, and college football. We cannot wait to come back.
